Kamal Haasan handover Best Actor award to Mammootty for Peranbu movie

One of the finest actors in Indian cinema, Mammootty collaborated with critically acclaimed director Ram for the Tamil film Peranbu. As expected, the duo delivered a knockout film about a father and a daughter. Mammootty’s acting received several acclaims and proved once again that how good an actor he is.

The film brought him the Best Actor award at the recently concluded Magudham Awards. The icing on the cake was him receiving the award from the hands of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. Both Kamal Haasan and Mammootty are among the finest actors working right now, and then sharing the stage is a sight to cherish.

Mammootty was happy to receive the awards from Kamal’s hands. Young actress Aishwarya Rajesh won Best Actress award for Kanaa and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi won the Icon of Tamil Cinema award.
