Kamal-Shankar Combo's Indian 2 To Begin On August 22
Sankar’s Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan is one of the most anticipated films of Kollywood andas per reports, they are in the final stage of the pre-production.
In 1996, Kamal Haasan and director Shankar collaborated on the social drama "Indian," which became a classic. After twenty years, the pair reunited for the sequel, and in 2017, the movie's production got under way. But after a few members died in an accident in early 2020, the movie was shelved. The most recent information indicates that Kamal Haasan and Shankar's "Indian 2" shoot would commence on August 22.
In the meantime, Kamal Haasan has travelled to the US to work on "Indian 2" and will soon be back in India. Consequently, it is reported that "Indian 2" shooting will resume on August 22. The producers are prepared with the pre-production works.
For the film shoot, a set has been built in a film city in Chennai, and the crew will be filming there for the next two months. Kajal Aggarwal, who already confirmed her involvement in the movie, will pick up filming again in the middle of September. Although Sathyaraj and Karthik are rumoured to be the newest cast members, the movie's producers have yet to confirm their involvement.
To continue filming "Indian 2," director Shankar postponed work on his other project, "RC 15," which stars Ram Charan in the lead role.
