Kartik Aaryan Calls Dhamaka The Most Challenging Film In His Career

Kartik Aaryan is fondly called Chocolate Boy in Bollywood. He was recently seen in Dhamaka, which is streaming on Netflix. The film went on to receive positive reviews from the critics and audience alike. IN an interview with The Times of India, Kartik called Dhamaka the most challenging film in his life. He said, "It was a difficult task, but I feel extremely proud that the entire team managed to finish it in this record time because I don’t think that has happened before with any film. This was possible only because Ram sir (director Ram Madhvani) and everyone on set had prepared everything down to the last detail. I had started my prep months before the shoot began. By the time I was on set, I was living Arjun Pathak mentally. That is how we managed to complete the shoot smoothly and on time, which was quite cool.."

He played the role of Arjun Pathak, which he claims is the most difficult character. Speaking more about it, Kartik said, "’m a very high-spirited person, so when I did a few of my previous films, which were in the rom-com space, I felt slightly more comfortable. However, Dhamaka pushed me to expand my boundaries as an actor. I play the role of a journalist, so my prep had increased and was more detailed. I studied the lives of news reporters and watched various documentaries for a better understanding. It was also during the lockdown, so that gave me that time to get into this character deeply. Arjun’s character is layered and intense, so I worked to live him in every way possible."
