Kartik Aaryan's Film 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha' To Get A New Name, Director Sameer Vidhwans Confirms

Kartik Aaryan's upcoming romantic drama Satynarayan Ki Katha to be named differently. The reports come after the award-winning director Sameer Vidhwans confirmed the news on his social media. According to the director, the name can hurt the sentiments of a particular section of society and attract backlash. "A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film 'Satyanarayan ki Katha' to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that's purely unintentional," he tweeted on Saturday night.

"Producers of the film and the creative team also are in complete support of this decision. We will be announcing a new title for our love story in the due course of our journey.” The film will mark the first collaboration of Kartik Aaryan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

Announcing the film, Kartik had shared a seconds clip and had written, "A story close to my heart #SatyanarayanKiKatha A special film with special people." The actor had expressed his excitement about working with Sajid in this film and said that he feels extremely happy. "Satyanarayan Ki Katha is a musical love saga that brings together a powerhouse of people who are National award-winning names. It’s also a first for me with Sameer Vidwans sir who has an astute sense of making sensitive topics highly entertaining," the 30-year-old actor was quoted as saying.
