Kartik Aaryan is at the peak of his career. After the back-to-back success of his past films, Kartik has big projects lined up for him in the future. His upcoming film Love Aaj Kal is the remake of the 2009 film which was one of the biggest blockbusters. Other films get lined up for the actor include Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaan 2. As the first part of Bhool Bhulaiyaan played by Akshay Kumar, Kartik was asked about his feelings on working in the sequel of the film.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kartik said that no one can fill Akshay's shoes. "It’s a new film for me. No one can fill those shoes. I hope to live up to the expectations,” he said. Along with Kartik, Kiara Advani and Tabu will be playing the lead roles in the film. Directed by Anees Bazmee and will release at the end of July this year. Ever since the news of Kartik working in the film got out, his fans have been super excited to watch him.
The 2007 film was a horror-comedy in which Vidya Balan played the role of a possessed woman called 'Maunjalika'. Her character became so famous that there were reports of its sequel ever since. The film also starred Shiny Ahuja, Ameesha Patel and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles.
