Kichcha Sudeep's Threat Letter Case: Director Ramesh Kitty Gets Detained
In connection with Kichcha Sudeep's threat letter case, Bengaluru Police detained Ramesh Kitty, a film director and the president of the Sudeep Charitable Trust.
Kichcha Sudeep received a threat letter last month, threatening to publish his private videos on social media. The actor submitted an FIR under multiple IPC sections. The director and Sudeep's friend Ramesh Kitty have now been detained by Bengaluru police after being questioned.
According to sources, Kitty and Sudeep had a disagreement because of their mutual trust. Kitty claimed that the Kannada star defrauded him after receiving his 2 crore investment. The director then wrote Kichcha Sudeep a threat letter. Police believe there are more individuals involved in the crime, and they are looking into it. More information is awaited.
Kichcha Sudeep's manager allegedly got a threat letter on April 5 that used derogatory language. In response to the threat letter, the Vikrant Rona actor stated that he is aware that someone in the business sent it. Sudeep responded to the letter of threat by saying, “Yes, I have received a threat letter and I know who sent it to me. I know it is from someone in the film industry. I will give a befitting reply to them. I will work in favour of those who stand by my side in my tough times."
Meanwhile, he received the threat letter after announcing his intention of contesting in the Karnataka elections. The actor embraced Narendra Modi's BJP. He will campaign alongside CM Basavaraj Bommai.
On the work front, Kichcha Sudeep has signed three films, which have not yet been officially revealed. The actor is prepared to reveal his upcoming project in the coming days. He mentioned a few days ago that he will make his upcoming project's details go public on June 1. He also revealed that his future movie's promotional shoot will begin on May 22.
