Kona Venkat once again opens up on his strained relationship with filmmaker Sreenu Vaitla during an interview

Director Srinu Vaitla and writer Kona Venkat joined hands for so many movies like 'Dhee', 'Reddy', 'Dookudu', 'King' and 'Badshah' movies and all the films became super hit. Especially, the comedy in the combination never fails to make the audience laugh.

But, after the Baadshah movie, the duo has had some issues between themselves. After a long time, they joined hands again for 'Bruce Lee' movie but failed to impress the audience. So, they have parted their ways. Kona Venkat recently opened up about what went wrong between them. He claimed that the problem is that Srinu Vaitla wants to take entire credit to himself. "Movie is teamwork. Be it a hit or a flop movie, the entire team should get the credit. When I worked with Srinu, teamwork got broken. The music director gives a couple of tunes and the director will select the final one. But the director can't claim that he himself has composed the music. I felt that he has been taking more credit than any other," said Kona.

He further added that Srinu Vaitla can justice can do justice to some films and can bring out the best performances from the artists. "I have written both 'Dhee' and 'Ready' movies. But, I don't think the movies would become hits if it went to other directors" added Kona.

On the work front, Sreenu Vaitla is working on an exciting film titled Dhee 2 while Kona Venkat awaits the release of his next movie Nishabdham, starring Anushka Shetty.
