With the release of Puzhu, Mammootty's acting and variety of characters are being discussed again. After years of hard work, Mammootty became one of the great actors in Malayalam. His legendary characters are being discussed on social media again. Mammootty, the 70-year-old legend, still amazes the audience by proving to be the walking definition of a complete actor.

 
Now, actor Kani Kusruti has come up with a Facebook post praising Mammootty. Kani praised Mammootty for his role in the film Puzhu. Mammootty beautifully portrayed a selfish man who is deeply casteist in the film. Puzhu and Mammootty’s acting is being discussed on social media, in the film industry, and socio-cultural spaces.
 
Actress Kani Kusruti says that she cannot get enough of Mammootty's acting.
 
“Mammootty. Can’t get enough of his acting. I wish he live a thousand years more. Thank you for reminding us acting is not just behaving. What’s after behaving counts;” Kani wrote on Facebook.
 
Ratheena’s 'Puzhu' premiered on Sony LIV on May 12th. The film stars Mammootty and Parvathy Thiruvoth as the central characters. In the movie, Mammootty plays a character with a negative shade. Newcomer Ratheena directs the film.
 
Earlier Producer Anto Joseph had commented on the performance by Mammootty in the film. “Mammootty is never tired of acting. We, want to see more of Mammootty’s magic. Of course, there are still a lot of characters waiting for Mammootty and us to covet. Parvathy plays a major role alongside Mammootty. The courage and dedication shown by Parvathy are commendable. The performance of our beloved Appunni Sasi also deserves an appreciation. All the actors are excellent;” wrote Anto Joseph on Twitter.
 
S. George produces the film under the banner of Celluloid. The film also stars Appunni Sasi Nedumudi Venu, and Malavika Menon.
