Musician Comagan dies. Director Cheran pays tribute

Comagan is a musician who has a special place in the music community. The visually impaired musician was the head of a music troupe and successfully managed it for several years. However, Comagan died because of Covid-19 recently in Chennai. After the news of Comagan's demise went viral, several netizens remembered him as the person who appeared in the famous Ovoru Pookalume song from director CHeran's Autograph Many people took to social media to payy tribute to Comagan, who worked for the upliftment of visually impaired people.

 
National Award winning director Cheran introduced Comagan in Tamil cinema with his film Autograph. He took to Twitter to pay his tribute to the legendary musician. He wrote that Comagan was the eye for the 25 families in his music troupe. He further hadded that Comagan's demise has shattered hhis heart. Comagan also composed for Muthal Muthalai film and he was the first visually challenged composer to do so. He had also appeared in films like Vijay's Sura and Kannukule. Autograph was also remade in Telugu. Comagan and his troupe performed the Ovoru Pookalume song in Telugu as well.
