Nani has been receiving applause from audience and critics for choosing offbeat films. His earlier films, Jersey and Gang Leader, got critical acclaim; however, the appreciation failed to translate into box office numbers.
With his films not doing much at the box-office, Nani seems to recheck his strategies. For the first time in his career, he has only one ongoing film and has put all other possible projects on hold. He will take a while before playing them.
He is currently working on Mohan Krishna Indraganti’s V, which marks his 25th film. After this, he should work with Shiva Nirvana, but he has not given a nod for it yet. Also, a romantic film with a newcomer is on hold as well.
Meanwhile, he has listened to a new script penned by Nandini Reddy, who gave a blockbuster in his career with Ala Modalaindi. Nani will rework on his strategies and sign new films post V. The next schedule of V will begin in the coming weeks.
