Netizen asks Rahul Ramakrishna about Geetha Govindam scenes

Rahul Ramakrishna expressed his anguish on Twitter over the recent rape and murder that took place in Hyderabad. Rahul said, "Death serves no justice. It is just a temporary remedy to whitewash a problem of unimaginable magnitude. We as a society are the only true culprits. We live and revel in rape culture. All this talk about failing systems of governance and law enforcement is just mental muck thrown around to bury the fact that we are not civilized beings, much less a civilization. Men are trash. And as long as we don’t reflect on why we are the way we are, nothing will change."

Immediately, a netizen gave a reply to Rahul which made sense. The netizen asked him, "I agree and I can understand your intentions. But what about scenes in movies like #GeethaGovindam where the hero's friend under the influence of alcohol encourages the hero to kiss heroine without her consent. Won't such scenes have an impact and what culture is it propagating?"

Rahul said that he already apologized for the same earlier. "I have publicly apologies for that film and have shared criticism published in the news minute regarding it."

Rahul's next biggie is 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo' starring Allu Arjun in the lead.
