AR Murugadoss wants different plans for the pre-release event of Darbar starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead that releases in Telugu on 9th January.
This year, Superstar Rajinikanth gave a Pongal treat with superhit film Petta. Now, he is all set to give another Pongal treat in 2020 with his new film Darbar. Directed by AR Murugadoss, this film is all set to release on January 9th in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
Already, the makers hosted a grand audio launch event in Tamil which has become a big success. Now, they are planning to organize a pre-release event for the Telugu version as well. According to the sources, this pre-release event will happen on 3rd January in Hyderabad. This will be a grand affair and Superstar will attend it as well. We also hear that music director Anirudh will give a live performance on the stage. The trailer has got a good response and the Telugu fans are eagerly waiting to watch Rajini on the big screen. Apparently, no special invites were sent to any of the heroes in Telugu as the makers want the event to be an exclusive one for the film unit interaction.
Rajini played the role of a police officer after a long gap, which is the other reason for high expectations on this film. Nayanthara played the female lead in this movie. Nivetha Thomas, Prateik Babbar, and Suneil Shetty have essayed the other important roles. Subaskaran has produced Darbar under Lyca Productions.
