Pathaan Advance Bookings: Rs 10 Crores Gross, 3 Lac Tickets

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan has pulled in over Rs 10 Crores in advance booking figures. This sum in itself is worth more than the first-day collection of some Bollywood movies. The film has had more than its fair share of controversies since the release of its song Besharam Rang. The film has endured extremist anger over the color of the swimsuit worn by Deepika Padukone in a song sequence. Adding to controversies, the name Pathaan itself was challenged. And as a final blow, there are boycott calls and death threats on the film's actors. Yet the film seems poised to rise above anger if the pre-release business is anything to go by. The film looks to have sold more than three lakh tickets in advance booking figures.

Pathaan has sold more than three lakh tickets till now. The film took about 33 hours to reach this benchmark. And as the film will release on 25th January this film has huge momentum and could realistically surpass the tally KGF 2 has set in advance booking figures. KGF 2 sold an unprecedented 5 lakh tickets through advance booking. Pathaan will look to eclipse that figure. Pathaan now stands third behind KGF 2 and Brahmastra in terms of advanced ticket sales records. Pathaan will cross the figures of Brahmastra tomorrow and the film will stand in second place in the list. With the present trend, it is anticipated to earn at least Rs 30 crore from advance bookings and to sell more than 10 lakh tickets on opening day.
