PM Modi and Amit Shah remember Tamil actor Vivekh

Tamil actor Vivekh's sudden demise came as a huge shock to everyone in the film industry. His death comes a day after him taking the Covid-19 vaccine. He met the media on April 15 and urged everyone to take the jab. However, he suffered a massive heart attack on April 16 and breathed his last in the wee hours of April 17. The doctors who treated Vivekh confirmed that the actor had 100 per cent blockage in one of the arteries and it is not a complication or side effect of the vaccine. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to honour Vivekh and speak about his contribution to the society.

PM Modi wrote,

The untimely demise of noted actor Vivek has left many saddened. His comic timing and intelligent dialogues entertained people. Both in his films and his life, his concern for the environment and society shone through. Condolences to his family, friends and admirers. Om Shanti.

Amit Shah went a step ahead and tweeted in Tamil. His tweet is translated as, "I was saddened to learn about the death of actor Vivek. His amazing talent made him an outstanding actor. He made Indian cinema special with his talent. He will always be remembered for that. My condolences to his family and fans. Omshanti ."

Vivekh
