Rajamouli keeps RRR movie release in suspense

Generally, maverick director SS Rajamouli takes more than two years to shoot each film. He did the same for both the parts of Baahubali series. Now, it looks like he is going to take the same amount of time for his upcoming fictional period drama, RRR.

The shoot of RRR started in November 2018 and back then, the team has announced that the film will hit the screens on July 30, 2020. But in the meantime, a lot of postponements happened which delayed the shoot further. Thus, speculations began on whether the film will release on the mentioned date or not.
When asked the same question in the recent pre-release event of Mathu Vadalara, Rajamouli said that the makers of Mathu Vadalara took one year to come up with their film and thus, there is nothing wrong in him taking more than three years for his every film. However, Rajamouli didn't speak about the release date. This is now strengthening  the speculations that the film's release might get pushed further.
RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris are the female leads of this film. It is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya.
