Hero Ram Pothineni was struggling to score a big hit for the past few years. His long-time dream came true after teaming up with dashing director Puri Jagannadh for the film, iSmart Shankar. Puri brought a complete changeover to Ram which resulted in a blockbuster. Eventually, the film turned out to be the biggest hit in Ram's career. Ram thanked Puri in many instances for offering him that role.
Now, the Jagadam actor is trying to show his gratitude towards the director. According to the tinsel town sources, Ram will do an item number in the upcoming film, Romantic, which features Puri's son Aakash in the lead role. Apparently, Ram will shoot for this song very soon.
Generally, heroines do item number and very rarely we see heroes doing it. Now, Ram joins that rare list. We hear that a heroine will also shake a leg alongside him in the song, but we still don't know who will be that actress. Directed by Anil Paduri, Romantic features debutant Ketika Sharma as the female lead. Senior actress Ramya Krishnan is playing a key role in the film. Puri is bankrolling the project, along with Charmme. Romantic will hit the screens in early 2020.
