Bollywood star Ranveer Singh has announced that he has finally completed shooting for filmmaker Rohit Shetty's 'Cirkus' two long years after commencing the project.
Bollywood star Ranveer Singh has announced that he has finally finished filming for filmmaker Rohit Shetty's 'Cirkus,' two years after it began. The actor announced on Instagram, sharing a joyous image from the set with his director Rohit and co-star Varun Sharma.
Singh is working with Shetty for the third time, following the hits 'Simmba' and 'Sooryavanshi.' The play 'The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare inspired the film. Ranveer will play two roles in the movie, which is about two pairs of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth.
Pooja Hegde, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, and Vrajesh Hirjee also appear in 'Cirkus.'
The family entertainer was supposed to be released on December 31, 2021; however, it was pushed back until July 15, 2022. However, because the team could not make the deadline due to production delays caused by the epidemic, Rohit announced in May 2022 that the film would be released on December 23, 2022.
