Sandalwood’s coronavirus awareness song Bhadalagu Neenu, Bhadalagisu Needu is out

Celebrities across the world have been working towards raising awareness for COVID-19. Our very own Sandalwood stars such as Puneeth Rajkumar, Upendra and many others come together to make a song to raise awareness about coronavirus. Leaders like Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and Minister for Medical Education Sudhakar K and Prime Minister Modi also feature in the song. The song Bhadalagu Neenu, Bhadalagisu Needu appreciates all the frontline workers like doctors, nurses, policemen, reporters, journalists, media personnel, scientists and many others. The song was originally supposed to air on 25th of May at 5 pm. Due to unknown reasons, the song’s release stood postponed. A couple of days ago, the brains behind the song Pavan Wadeyar shared a photo to say that the song will come out today at 5 pm.

Pavan Wadeyar shared the poster for the song to make the announcement. The song premiered today at 5 pm on the DBeatsMusicWorld YouTube channel.

The song throws light on the changes that we are facing due to COVID-19. There is a before and after depiction of life before and after the COVID-19 outbreak. The song is a tribute to all those who are fighting the virus on the frontlines. The song calls the frontline workers as our heroes in this battle against COVID-19. Some of the Sandalwood personalities had a special message for the people. For example, actor and politician Sumalatha Ambreesh says that the smallest changes are enough, instead of developing enmity in our bodies let’s strengthen our immunity. Some others lip-synced to the song.

The song is a collaborative effort on the part of more than 20 personalities including the production team. The poster for the song shows the 20 collaborators such as Ramesh Arvind, Rakshit Shetty, Shivrajkumar, Anushree, Sumalatha Ambreesh, Upendra, Puneeth Rajkumar, Ashika Ranganath and many more. Cricketer Anil Kumble is also one of the collaborators. Pavan Wadeyar developed the concept and also directed the video. The music is by V Harikrishna. Imran Sardhariya is the choreographer.
