Gopichand’s Seetimarr opened to lukewarm reviews yesterday. However, the film is setting the box office on fire and its opening day collections are proving the same.
Seetimaarr has collected Rs 4.01 Crores net on its opening day. The film has collected Rs 90 lakh net in the Nizam region and Rs 54 lakh in Ceeded.
The film grossed a total of Rs 4.70 crores at the worldwide box office, which is a pretty impressive feat. The film has grossed more than any other film that has been released in India post the Covid second wave. The film surpassed Shang Chi, and Bell-Bottom to emerge as the highest grosser in the domestic market.
Thanks to the mass elements, Seetimarr managed to pull the masses to the theatres in big numbers on its opening day. The film banks on fight sequences, the chartbuster Jwala Reddy song, and Gopichand’s mass screen presence.
Also, Seetimaarr enjoyed a strong run at the ticket counters as it faced very little competition from Thalaivii in the twin Telugu states.
Seetimaarr registered houseful in many mass centers across Andhra Pradesh. The makers will be hoping that the film will carry forward the good momentum through the weekend and post impressive numbers on its first Sunday.
The film is directed by Sampath Nandi and it has Tamannaah in the female lead role. Mani Sharma composed the music for the action thriller.
