Gopichand’s Seetimarr, Avasarala Srinivas’s 101 Jillala Andagadu, and Adith Arun’s Dear Megha are all set to indulge in a head-on crash at the box office next weekend - 3rd September. These three films will be releasing on the same day.
Gopichan’s Seetimarr is the pick of the lot. The sports drama is set in Kabaddi backdrop and it features Gopichand and Tamannaah in the lead roles. Both Gopichand and Tamannaah will be seen as Kabaddi coaches in this Sampath Nandi directorial. Mani Sharma is composing the music for this film.
101 Jillalu Andagadu is a comedy caper starring Avasarala Srinivas in the lead role. The seasoned actor plays a middle-aged bald man who tries to woo a woman by hiding the fact that he is bald. But he has to come up against a series of challenges life throws at him as he attempts to cover up his baldness. The film features Ruhani Sharma in the lead role.
Dear Megha is the Telugu remake of the Kannada super hit Dia. The remake is directed by Sushanth Reddy and it features Adith Arun, Megha Akash, and Arjun in the lead roles.
On a related note, Tollywood is set to witness a busy Friday at the box office this weekend as well. Sudheer Babu’s Sridevi Soda Center, Sushanth Akkineni’s Ichata Vahanamulu Nilupa Radu, and House Arrest are releasing on the 27th of this month.
