Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marapathillai postponed once again

Director Selvaraghavan's long pending film Nenjam Marapathillai has been lying on the shelves for over four years now. Recently, the makers of the film announced that the financial problems have been settled and announced the release date. The horror thriller starring SJ Suryah, Regina Cassandra and Nandita Sweta was scheduled to release in theatres on March 5. The makers had even released a promo which went crazy viral on social media. Everyone appreciated SJ Suryah's performance and one of his scenes became a meme template within a few hours.

 
Now, the latest update is that the film is said to have been postponed yet again. Based on an application filed by Radiance Media Pvt Ltd, the Madras High Court has granted an injunction till March 15 thereby restraining Escape Artists Motion Pictures from releasing Nenjam Marapathaillai in theatres. Nenjam Marapathillai was produced by Ondraga Entertainment, Glo Studios and Escape Artists. The shooting was wrapped un 2016 and the film has been waiting to see the light of the day for more than four years.
