Superstar Rajinikanth has been giving chances to various directors these days, whom he has never worked with, in the past. After the successful Petta, Rajini is currently working on his next film Darbar, which is being directed by AR Murugadoss. This movie is hitting the screens for Pongal 2020 release.
We hear that after Darbar, Rajini might work with another star director Siva who last delivered a blockbuster to Ajith with Viswasam. The project's announcement came out already and the works of the movie are in progress too.
Meanwhile, the interesting update is that director Gautham Menon readied a story for Rajinikanth. This Ye Maya Chesave director is planning to work with Rajini for a long time but things didn't fall in place for them. Gautham has prepared a script called 'Thalaiva' sought the director's appointment recently.
Apparently, Rajinikanth will hear the story once he wraps up the dubbing of Darbar. If everything goes as planned, this movie starts in the second half of next year.
Meanwhile, Gautham Menon is currently working hard to release his long-delayed films, Enai Noki Paayum Thotta and Dhruva Nachthiram.
