Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra are coming together soon to take part in a WHO event for Coronavirus relief

It is very rare that celebrities from across the world come together for a single cause. Now as the Coronavirus pandemic takes over the world WHO has brought together stars from across the globe for a single cause. This cause is to help spread awareness and provide relief in such trying times. The event is titled One World: Together at Home will soon also be hosting two of Bollywood's most iconic faces. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and now global actress Priyanka Chopra will be representing India at the global platform.

Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter handle to confirm his participation at the World Health Organization event. He wrote, ""Health care workers on the frontlines of the #COVID19 crisis need our support. That's why I'm standing in solidarity with @GlblCtzn and @WHO for One World: #TogetherAtHome - a one-night special event on April 18. " Priyanka Chopra also shared the news with her fans on twitter. She tweeted writing, "Just 4 more days till I join @glblctzn for One World: #TogetherAtHome. The historic special will include leading global health experts and performances in support of @WHO's Solidarity Response Fund." The one of a kind event is also going to host other international celebrities like Lady Gaga, John Legend, Elton John, David Beckham and Idris Elba. The event will be hosted by Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon. Hugh Evan, who is the CEO of Global Citizen recently said, "As we honour and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, 'One World: Together At Home' aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19."
