The Mani Ratnam-directed film reportedly earned 100 crores from Tamil Nadu alone. It currently holds the top rank among Kollywood productions. Additionally, the movie is doing well in the USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, UAE, and Sri Lanka. According to reports, the movie's foreign sales account for at least 30% of its total revenue, or Rs 230 crore. Previously, only Rajinikanth's "2.0" had a significant portion of the overseas earnings. However, there are now rumors that the movie will gross Rs 500 crore in two weeks. As of right now, "Ponniyin Selvan" is anticipated to be Tamil cinema's largest international hit. The lead actors in "Ponniyin Selvan" include Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, and Trisha.
