Simbu is currently working on Pathu Thala, directed by Obeli N Krishna. Simbu and Gautham Karthik share the screen in the movie. It is the official Tamil adaptation of the Kannada film "Mufti". Simbu plays a don in the movie. Gautham Karthik is reportedly playing an undercover police officer.
Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, and Teejay Arunasalam play other significant roles in the film. AR Rahman is responsible for the film's music composition. The most recent information is that an Indian OTT platform has already paid a huge sum for the OTT rights of the movie.
Reportedly, the movie "Pathu Thala" will debut on December 14. It will have its digital premiere in February 2023.
