Ala Vaikunthapurramloo is one of the exciting films in the recent times. The film released during Sankranthi this year and became a big hit at the box-office. The film competed with Sarileru Neekevvaru and finally became the Sankranthi blockbuster. Trivikram Srinivas is the director of the movie. Geetha Arts and Haarika & Haassine Creations bankrolled the film. The makers are extremely happy with the film getting inquiries for other languages, for a remake. Already, there is a buzz regarding the remake of the movie in Bollywood. Shahid Kapoor is in talks for the Hindi remake. Coming to Tamil, Simbhu or Siva Karthikeyan might remake the film.
 
According to the Kollywood media speculations, both the star heroes Simbhu and Siva Karthikeyan are trying to get the remake rights of the movie. Most likely, the deal will get closed after the lockdown coming to an end. The two heroes watched the film and liked it immensely. A leading production house is also in talks with the producers to get the remake rights. As of now, there is no clarity on the same. But, the fans in Kollywood wanted the film to get remade.
 
Thaman S is the music director of the movie who is the main reason for the film's big success. The audio album scored by Thaman helped the makers to gain a huge craze. Jayaram, Tabu, Sachin Khedkar, Sushanth, Navdeep, Rahul Ramakrishna, Pooja Hegde, Nivetha Pethuraj, Sunil, Harshavardhan, Samuthrakhani, Ajay and others acted in the film.
