Simbu to star in a movie for Tamil Nadu Movie Makers Sangam

Simbu is celebrating his birthday today (February 3). On the eve of his birthday, an announcement regarding his upcoming film was made. Simbu will be doing a film for the Tamil Nadu Movie Makers Sangam. This untitled film will be directed by Gnangiri and will be produced by popular financier Singaravelan. In a statement, Simbu, who is also a part of the Sangam, revealed that the profits of the film will be helpful for the people. It will be useful for the welfare schemes including medical assistance, school scholarship, marriage allowance, and other insurances. Reportedly, the film is produced for helping the producers.

The shooting of this untitled film will begin soon and will hit the theatres later this year. Simbu is out of town on his birthday and had requested his fans not to visit his house today. Once he is back, he will organize a meeting for his ardent fans. He also announced that the teaser of his upcoming film Maanadu will release today as a gift to his fans on his birthday. Simbu was last seen in director Suseenthiran's Eeswaran, which released on Pongal and received mixed reviews from the audience.
