Simran and Vani Bhojan for Chiyaan 60

Yesterday actress Simran was last seen in director Gautham Menon's portion in Netflix's Paava Kadhaigal. The actress has been choosing diverse characters in the last few years. Now, it looks like she is all set to share screen space with her Dhruva Natchathiram co-star. She had also played a cameo in director Bala's Pithamagan which starred Vikram and Suriya in the lead roles. With Chiyaan 60, she will be joining hands with him for the third time. Chiyaan 60 will feature Vikram and his son Dhruv for the first time. Director Karthik Subbaraj will be helming this gangster drama.

Simran took to Twitter to announce the ews and added, "An exceptional opportunity to team up with @karthiksubbaraj again! Super glad to join the dynamic father-son duo of #ChiyaanVikram and #DhruvVikram on #Chiyaan60 A @Music_Santhosh musical, produced by #LalitKumar Wishing the entire team the best of luck (sic)." Yesterday, Karthik Subbaraj announced that Santhosh Narayanan has replaced Anirudh in the film. The director wrote, "Yes... It's A Santosh Narayanan Musical!! Welcome to the Gang @Music_Santhosh. Thanks @anirudhofficial for your understanding & Support. #Chiyaan60 shoot starts from TODAY. Need all your Support, Blessings and Love. More updates to follow (sic).
