The parasite is the movie in discussion across the cinema world from the last couple of months. Ever since it won big at the Oscars, Parasite is being in the discussions at many levels. While there is a huge fanbase for it, there are also people who found it boring and bland. Director SS Rajamouli is one of them. The ace filmmaker said that he got bored while watching the film and slept halfway through it.

 
Rajamouli made these statements in a recent interview to a television news channel. The Baahubali director found nothing interesting in the slow-burning thriller of Bong Jon-ho. Definitely, Parasite is not everyone's cup of tea. People have varied opinions on it. There are many theories around the subtext of class division shown in the entire film. While some people were quite blown away by the climax, some others found it very bland. The Oscar-winning film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Parasite first made noise by winning the Palme d'Or at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Then it swept Oscar Awards in various categories like Best Film, Best Foreign Film, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.
 
Meanwhile, Rajamouli is currently spending time at home due to the ongoing lockdown. The director is currently working on his upcoming film RRR, which features Ram Charan and Jr NTR as the lead heroes. The film was originally slated for the release on the 8th of January, 2021. It may now get postponed to a further date due to the cancellation of film productions.
