Superstar Rajinikanth Remembers Kannada Actor Puneeth Rajkumar

Superstar Rajinikanth recently got discharged from a private hospital in Chennai after his carotid artery revascularization surgery. When he was hospitalized, Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar suffered a heart attack and died on October 29 at Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru. He was 46. Almost 12 days after his demise, Rajinikanth took to his daughter Soundar Rajinikanth's app, Hoote, to share his condolence message to Puneeth Rajkumar's family members. He said that Puneeth Rajkumar was a close grew up in front of his eyes.

In his voice note, Rajinikanth said, "I am doing fine after the surgery. But, I was inconsolable and felt very bad after hearing the news. He was a child who grew in front of me. He was a talented and lovable child. He left all of us at the height of his extremely successful career. His loss is irreparable for the Kannada film industry, and I have no words to console his family. Let Puneeth rest in peace." Puneeth Rajkumar is survived by his wife, Ashwini Revanth, and two daughters, Drithi and Vandhitha. Puneeth's family members are now holding 12th and 13th-day rituals for the superstar. Nearly 30, 000 fans of Puneeth Rajkumar have been visiting Puneeth's memorial in Bengaluru.
