Recently, several rumours about Mega Star Chiranjeevi's health were making rounds. Sources said that while shooting in Rajahmundry, the Mega Star had fallen ill and taken a break. Later, there were also rumours about how Acharya's release might get postponed as the team might not be able to finish shooting on time. The rumours have turned out to be nothing but rumours. The production house Matinee Entertainment took to their social media to re-stated that they are gearing up for a worldwide release on May 13th.

Matinee Entertainment also said the team has completed their month-long schedule.
"Team #Acharya completed a month-long schedule in Rajahmundry and Illendu regions of AP and Telangana. Gearing up for a grand worldwide release on 13th May 2021. #AcharyaOnMay13," read the announcement from Matinee Entertainment.
Acharya is one of the biggest films of 2021. Since the stakes are high, a release date postponement is unlikely. The shooting is happening as scheduled and Acharya will have a theatrical release on time.
Sources say that the team of Acharya will wrap up a majority of the shooting in their upcoming schedule.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the Acharya stars Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hedge in prominent roles. Matinee Entertainments and Konidela Productions are jointly producing the much anticipated film. Acharya also features actors Sonu Sood, Sourav Lokesh, and Kishore.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is looking forward to work on the Telugu remake of the hit Malayalam film Lucifer.
