Telangana government showers boons on Tollywood

The government of Telangana has shifted its focus on the development of the Telugu film industry. They are planning to move the works on a swift mode for the betterment of Tollywood. Upon the order of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav met Tollywood bigwigs Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna a couple of days back.

 
This meeting happened at Chiru's residence in Jubilee Hills. Apart from Talasani, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna, a few other eminent personalities from the film industry have attended this meeting. According to the sources, the Minister has discussed various development aspects of the film industry.
 
The construction of a film institute near Shamshabad, a training institute for film workers, locating 10 acres of land near Chitrapuri, 2 acres of land in Jubilee Hills for a cultural center are some of the aspects the trio had discussed upon.
 
Talasani also discussed the distribution of identity cards for the film and TV workers. He promised that he will make sure that the film workers will get all the major government policies, welfare schemes, ESI and group insurances. Nandi Awards will also get distributed very soon. Talasani will hold another meeting soon with the Tollywood bigwigs in a couple of weeks.
