There is no superhero like Batman. Multiple variations of the superhero have appeared before on the big screen. This time director Matt Reeves is all set to showcase his own version of the titular character with, The Batman. Reeves took to Twitter last night to share the first look at the new Batsuit.
The 55-second long video shows the camera pan up to Robert Pattinson. It showcases a glimpse at Robert Pattinson in the new Batsuit. The new Batsuit brings a completely new look. Some fans took no time to quickly notice a peculiar thing about the new suit. The bat logo on the chest had made out of a disassembled gun. This gun is the same weapon used to kill Martha and Thomas Wayne. If this is true, Matt Reeves is looking at exploring a darker side of Batman this time around.
Pattinson was cast for the role of Batman in May 2019. The Batman is being scripted by Matt Reeves alongside Mattson Tomlin. Other cast members in the upcoming film include Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred and Peter Sarsgaard as a Gotham City DA.
Netizens question Pattinson's new look as The Batman. While some fans like Pattinson's gritty and dark look others have compared him to Ben Affleck. Affleck played the Batman in Justice League and Batman Vs Superman.
