Tovino Thomas To Soon Return As Minnal Murali: Drops A Significant Update
Tovino Thomas will soon make a comeback as the renowned indie superhero Minnal Murali. With an Instagram post, the actor lately gave a strong hint on the same.
Tovino Thomas, a renowned young Malayalam film star, received widespread acclaim for his role in the superhero film Minnal Murali. The outstanding director Basil Joseph's in-house superhero movie had a straight OTT distribution on Netflix in December 2021. It is already revealed that Minnal Murali would have additional episodes. It is planned as a franchise. Tovino Thomas has since announced that he will soon be making a comeback as the superhero.
The young actor announced that Minnal Murali will be making a quick comeback since the universe was about to grow through an Instagram post. Tovino Thomas will play the superhero in the upcoming Netflix Playback video. He will not reprise his role in the sequel of the movie.
He also posted a rare still from the next Netflix film. In it, he is shown engaging in combat with another well-known figure from the Netflix universe. It's interesting to see that the new still slightly changes Tovino Thomas's Minnal Murali appearance. In contrast to his appearance in the movie, the actor is seen sporting a thick beard and a different hairdo. In the previous, he had a different hairstyle and stubble.
Director Basil Joseph had stated in an interview that the Minnal Murali franchise's second sequel won't happen for another three years. Before beginning to work on the second part of the acclaimed film, the emerging director intends to direct one or two other movies. The second part will be released in theatres first. Vazhakku will be the talented actor's next project. It is a social drama that recently had its world debut at the 27th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Tovino Thomas' big project is now keeping him quite busy. The movie will show him in three roles. He is also going to reprise his role as youthful politician Jathin Ramdas in L2: Empuraan. The movie is a highly anticipated sequel to Mohanlal's Lucifer, which was released in 2019.
