Tollywood’s macho star Gopichand is currently starring in the movie 'Seetimaarr'. Mass director Sampath Nandi is the director while Manisharma is the music director. In the past, Gopichand - Sampath Nandi's combination of Gautam Nanda' didn't attain the anticipated success at the Box office. However, this time Sampath Nandi is hell-bent to score a hit through Seetimaarr. Tamannaah Bhatia plays the female lead in this film.
The movie was pulled from the sets when the government enforced lockdown due to the COVID pandemic. Now that the government decided to allow movie shootings, the Seetimaarr team scheduled to commence the balance shoot in august. But the happiness in the Seetimmarr camp is short-lived as the main lead Gopichand himself is reluctant to shoot the balance scenes.
Gopichand is not all ready to attend the shoot just yet, because he feels that it's not quite safe to get exposed to the risk of coronavirus infection. The film is based on India's close contact sport kabaddi, also the balance shoot is on the kabaddi scenes, and thus he feels it is not worth risking his kid's lives considering the criticality of the situation.
The industry buzz around this movie is also that Gopichand had actually suggested the producers of the film to not consider the shooting of the balance scenes until the vaccine for COVID is out.
If all that is heard is true, then the movie is indefinitely postponed to 2021. Sampath Nandi will have to wait to get a taste of success again.
