Since the time the film got released in Kannada, there are enquires about the remake of the movie in different languages.

U-Turn director Pawan Kumar confirms the film's remake in the Filipino language; originally made in Kannada

Director Pawan Kumar recently confirmed that his hit Kannada movie 'U-Turn' will be remade in Filipino. He shared the same through his official social media page and grabbed the attention. Pawan Kumar created a storm by making the film in Kannada. Since the time the film got released in Kannada, there are enquires about the remake of the movie in different languages. The director also introduced a beautiful talent Shraddha Srinath to the film industry.

 
“Just got to know – Kim Chiu, JM De Guzman and Tony Labrusca are teaming up for a Filipino adaptation of Indian box-office hit U-Turn, a mystery thriller film that first came out in theatres in 2016.” We already know that 'U-Turn' movie got remade in Telugu and also became a decent hit at the box office. Samantha Akkineni, Rahul Ravindran, Aadhi Pinisetty and Bhumika Chawla played crucial roles in the film. Touted to be a mystery thriller, Kim Chiu, JM De Guzman, and Tony Labrusca are going to join hands to remake the movie remake this film in Filipino.
 
The film deals with a very interesting concept which is relevant and important for any country or society. Let us hope that the films excel in other languages as well when remade. The director also claimed that the movie is likely to get remade in Chinese. A remake in Thai might also take place. The filmmakers from those countries are also showing interest in this movie. However, the official announcement regarding the same is yet to get released.
