Vadivelu And Shankar Sort Out Differences Over Imsai Arasan

After the stupendous success of Imsai Arasan, 23 am Pulikecei, Vadivelu director Chimbu Deven and producer-director Shankar joined hands yet again. Titled Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikecei, the film went on floors in August 2017. However, the shooting came to an abrupt halt over creative differences between Vadivelu and the film's team... Director Shankar, who produced the film, filed a complaint against Vadivelu with the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC). Vadivelu refused to settle the dues or turn up for the shooting. After nearly three years, the two have managed to sort out the differences between each other.

The Tamil Nadu Film Producers' Council issued a press statement recently regarding the two stars reaching an amicable solution. The statement read, "Director Shankar, who is a member of the TFPC, had filed a complaint against actor Vadivelu on the issue of 23 am Pulikesi-II. Based on the complaint, we invited Vadivelu and S Pictures's (Shankar's production house) representatives and office-bearers of TPFC for in-person talks and have arrived at an amicable resolution to the issue." Now, it is reportedly, Vadivelu will shoot for a web series with director Suraj.
