Vaisshnav Tej whose debut film Uppena joined the 100 crore club, is the new star on the block. With fame comes some problems. Several fake Twitter accounts claiming to be Vaisshnav Tej have cropped up. Recently, Tej also shared a screenshot of an account that claimed to be him on Instagram. "This is not me. I am not on Twitter," Tej had written. Today, the young actor issued a press release to finally draw the line.
"This is to inform that I am NOT on Twitter. I request everyone not to pay heed to fake Twitter handles. I also request you to report that said account. Thanking in anticipation. I urge everyone to stay cautious," reads the press release.
Vaishnav's Uppena broke several records. Written and directed by debutant Buchi Babu Sana, the film stars debutant Krithi Shetty in a leading role. After star-studded films like Baahubali, Rangasthalam and Khaidi No.150, Uppena is the most recent film to his 100 crore mark. It's the first Telugu film with fresh faces to achieve the deed! It's safe to say that both Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty have made terrific debuts and we can expect a lot from them.
On the work front, Vaishnav Tej has become hot property in Tollywood. Vaishnav Tej has films with Director Kirsh, the production houses Shine Screens and Annapurna Studios lined up.
