Vijay to begin Thalapathy 65 shooting in April

Thalapathy Vijay is basking in the success of his recently-released film Master. The film, despite releasing in less number of theatres, is taking the box office by storm. Meanwhile, there is a high expectation on Vijay's upcoming film with director Nelson Dilipkumar. The untitled film will be produced by Sun Pictures. Rumours suggest that Pooja Hegde and Arun Vijay are in talks for the film. While Pooja Hegde is expected to play the female lead, Arun Vijay might join hands with Vijay to play the main antagonist in Nelson's film. According to reports close to Thalapathy 65 team, the pre-production is underway and the shooting will begin only in April.

As per the sources names of actresses and actors are being discussed, but they will be confirmed only in February or March. As of now, Pooja Hegde and Arun Vijay are the top contenders. Nelson Dilipkumar is a two-time director in Kollywood. While his first film was Nayanthara's Kolamaavu Kokila, his 2nd film Doctor is yet to release. His third film in the Tamil film industry is with none other than Thalapathy Vijay. More details regarding Thalapathy 65 will be announced by Sun Pictures in the coming months.
