Actor Vijay hailed as Thalapathy, treated fans on Pongal with the release of his much-awaited film, Master. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has Vijay Sethupathi and Arjun Das in pivotal roles. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the makers had to wait for nearly 10 months to release the film in theatres. Many netizens said that this could be a risky move as theatres are enclosed spaces, which increases the risk of transmission of the novel coronavirus. Some of them asked if Vijay would visit theatres and watch Master with the audience in this risky time.
Now, a new video of Vijay entering a theatre in Chennai has gone viral. In the viral video, which is a CCTV footage from Devi theatre in Chennai, Vijay can be seen walking inside the theatre and shaking hands with the owner. Reportedly, Vijay watched the first-day first show of Master with the audience in Devi theatre. He entered wearing a cap and a facemask. The authenticity of the audio is still under question as no one from Vijay's team has confirmed or denied the news.
