After Petta, Superstar Rajinikanth immediately jumped into the shooting spot of Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film, which is tipped as a commercial entertainer has Rajinikanth essaying two roles - as cop Aaditya Arunasalam, and a social activist. Darbar will release worldwide on January 10.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is all set to celebrate his 69th birthday tomorrow (November 12). Cinematographer Santosh Sivan who worked with Rajinikanth in Darbar took to Twitter to wish Thalaivar and dropped a bomb. He said he had watched the trailer of Darbar and added that Rajinikanth looks ageless in it.
"A very big happy birthday to Rajini Sir.. and Darbar Trailer he is ageless (sic)," he posted. Ever since he posted the tweet, many thought that the makers of Darbar will release the trailer as Rajinikanth's birthday present on December 12.
However, the producers haven't made any official announcement as of now. At the audio launch of Darbar, Rajinikanth stated that he will be away from town on his birthday and asked fans to not celebrate his birthday in a grand manner.
