The series of Student of the Year seems to have another addition. Reports say that Karan Johar is planning on bringing in Student of the Year 3. Currently, he is busy shooting for Takht starring big names and friends of Johar like Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Anil Kapoor. This rumour has stirred the fans and they cannot wait to see another addition into the film series.
Student Of The Year 2 starring Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey didn't make it big. It didn't receive a positive response from the fans of critics alike. Though the actors and actresses showed off their talent and dancing skills and gained much popularity. Now Johar is thinking of bringing in a new instalment to the existing high school drama series. Largely because everyone loves campus drama. We would all agree!
Nothing confirmed yet. The source comes from Dharma Production's recently established ties with Dharmatic Entertainment. It is popular for its collaboration with Netflix. This has given rise to the rumor that Johar may, in fact, be thinking of making the Student of the Year into a web series.
An entertainment report also confirmed that Raj Mehta the director of Good Newwz is now part of the project as its creative head. As for the cast, Alaya Furniturewala seems to be in the lead.
Some of the other films he is busy with is Sooryavanshi by Rohit Shetty. It is an action-packed film starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Set to release on 24th March it is now stalled due to Corona Virus. Another major project is Brahmāstra by Ayan Mukerji. It has Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan. It will release this December.
