Kartik Aaryan to Team up with Shashank Khaitan for a Karan Johar film?

Recently Shashank Khaitan, the Dhadak director, put the Varun Dhawan film 'Mr Lele' on hold. He informed that it was due to some scheduling issues that they couldn't go ahead with the film. Now it seems Khaitan wants to work with Kartik Aaryan on a film produced by Karan Johar. Mumbai Mirror quoted a source that said, "He was keen to make a love story and reached out to Kartik, who is already doing Dostana 2 with Karan. After Kartik gave his nod, he and Shashank met Karan on Sunday to discuss the project. The makers are still to decide on the female lead and the rest of the crew. The team is planning to start shooting later this year. Till then, locations and other modalities will be finalised."

This will be the first film for Khaitan and Aaryan where they will be working together. Fans cannot wait to see this new collaboration. Khaitan has done films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Ishaqzaade among his well known. While Aaryan, though still fairly new, has done films like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Luka Chuppi, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Love Aj Kal 2. Currently, Aaryan is busy filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The director is Anees Bazmee. It stars Kiara Advani, Tabu and Aaryan himself. The actor has already started promoting his film by uploading certain behind the scene pics.
