Kannada actor Yash is now waiting for the release of his upcoming film, KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel. KGF: Chapter 1, which released in 2018 became a blockbuster hit and catapulted him to a national star. Now, Yash is flooded with offers not just from Kannada directors but also from filmmakers across the country. Now that KGF: Chapter 2 shooting is wrapped, all eyes are on Yash to choose his next film carefully. According to reports, Yash has been in talks with director Shankar for a historical drama.

The latest development is that the film might take over 4 years to complete. Yes, you read that right. Shankar will wrap up Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan and will work on this film. Shankar has planned to get the film rolling in early 20222. Since major portions of the film will be shot using a green mat, the post-production work might take a long time. Sources reveal that this film will release only in 2027. Shankar wants this film on par with international standards. It is also said that he is in talks with Telugu Superstar Ram Charan for one of the leading roles in this film. An official announcement is still underway.
