Three youngsters, namely Ravi(Abhay), Teju(Charan Sai), Vamsi(Krishna) wish to explore sexual pleasures with women before leaving for the USA. What is in store for the three of them?

Crrush Review - Analysis

Right from the Outset, Crrush is an A-rated erotic drama based on the sexual adventures of three teens. Not often do we come across Telugu films that fall under this category. The premise is potent and has an element of freshness. However, the way Ravi Babu handled the subject and narrated the proceedings is appalling.

The three youngsters pick three identical routes to explore one particular aspect of adulthood - sexuality. But what awaits them is a life-changing journey laced with humiliations and heartbreak. Their immature efforts to pick up a woman are presented in a silly manner. The narrative is way too cliched and that ultimately takes a toll on the film, as a whole.

There are a fair few erotic scenes in the film but they don’t fuel the narrative. They are just randomly induced to lure a section of the digital audiences. The screenplay gets all messy past the midway point and various subplots pertaining to gay relationships and women in search of an adultery relationship take center stage. The ending is rushed and it doesn’t round off the story.

Ravi Babu is a very capable technician but it is safe to say he isn’t even remotely close to his usual best with Crrush. A lot more is expected of him.

Crrush Review - Verdict

Crrush is an annoyingly drabby erotic drama that doesn’t hold the attention of the audience even for a single minute. It is just another failed attempt in Telugu webspace.
