43 IAS officers transferred in AP!
The Andhra Pradesh government transferred as many as 43 Indian Administrative Service officers and gave postings to seven others.
Reportedly, several Indian Police Service and Indian Railway Personnel Service officers were also transferred. Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam issued a government order notifying the transfers and postings on Friday at midnight.
Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government transfers 47 officers, including 43 IAS officers and one officer from the IPS, IFS, IRS and IRPS each. These four officials, IRS officer Venkaiah Chowdary, IAS officers Gurrala Srinivasa Rao, P Koteshwara Rao, and Nagarani have been asked to report to the General Administration Department (GAD).
Most importantly this is the 2nd reshuffling in the span of less than a month that to days after he took oath as the Chief Minister, Jagan had transferred 47 officers. Notably, Three senior IAS officers including a Special Chief Secretary, who served in the previous Chief Minister’s Office, have not been given any postings yet, though they were transferred out three weeks ago.
