The Islamic State had announced Salbi as its leader using fake name 'Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi' hours after the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in October 2019. The International spies confirmed his identity. With this, he has become the primary target of the U.S Army whose resolution is to abolish the whole ISIS from the planet.
