To Industrialist Lingamaneni Ramesh, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has thrown an open challenge. Ramakrishna invited him for a debate on whether his guesthouse on the banks of Krishna River is legal or illegal. Ramakrishna had offered a strong counter to the claims of Lingamaneni claiming the structure belonging to him had all the permissions.
“Chandrababu Naidu declared they handed the controversial guesthouse over to the state government in land pooling. Then, how could the same people project it now as private property? Lingamaneni has to clarify whether his statement on land pooling in 2015 was true or his current claims were true. Even Chandrababu Naidu has to clarify whether the building given to state government in Land Pooling or was it leased to him,” said Mangalagiri MLA.
Lingamaneni Ramesh claimed they sent a letter to the State Government in 2011 seeking necessary permissions for the building. Why the signature in the 2011 letter and the signature in the open letter sent to CM Jagan on Tuesday were different is what Ramakrishna questioned Lingamaneni. Lingamaneni Ramesh got involved in corrupt practices taking advantage of the property handed over to Chandrababu Naidu in the past 5 years, according to the allegations by Ramakrishna.
