Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday criticized Congress after the Overseas Congress Chief, “who’s close to Rahul Gandhi,”. He met UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and discussed Kashmir. “I want to ask Rahulji, what does Congress want by discussing India’s internal matters with foreign leaders?” Shah said. “India will give a befitting reply to Congress for these shameful shenanigans,” BJP tweeted.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Congress party and NCP work for their families while BJP and Shiv Sena only have a country’s interests in mind. He made these comments in the wake of Maharashtra assembly polls. Shah further added that for BJP country’s security is more important than vote-bank politics.

Shah also targeted Rahul Gandhi and NCP for opposing the Centre’s move to abrogate Article 370 in J&K. “Rahul Gandhi said ‘Kashmir me khoon ki nadiya beh jayengi’, but no bullet had to be fired,” Shah claimed. The Home Minister also alleged that the two parties had opposed the decision to vote bank politics.
