Another foul trick to shift AP Capital Amaravati

It is well known that YSRCP has been trying hard to shift AP’s capital from Amaravati and decentralize it. This decision of YSRCP is being opposed by many AP leaders and people residing in and near Amaravati. They have been protesting against such a decision of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Since then there have been many reports given by the YSRCP government to calm these protests. They came up with the Boston committee and GN Rao committee reports.

Rumors have been out that the AP government had even contacted IIT Madras regarding this and IIT Madras too had given similar reports regarding the chances of capital formation in Amaravati. It had reported that the land in Amaravati can’t withstand the huge constructions in the capital of AP.

Many of the protestors along with opposition leaders doubted whether these reports were genuine. They even sent a mail to IIT Madras, asking them to confirm whether these reports were genuine. Surprisingly, it is being known that IIT Madras had denied issuing any such reports regarding the Amaravati and Capital formation in AP.

By this, the protestors are criticizing the AP government for playing cheap tricks like these, to calm the protests.
